SMETA is an audit procedure which is a compilation of good practice in ethical audit technique. The SMETA documents are designed to be used by experienced auditors in line with current established practices. It’s based on ETI based code. The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) is a web-based system designed to help organizations manage data on labor practices in their supply chain.

Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA)
is an industry association, whose members represent a substantial majority of the Social Compliance audit industry.

ASCB(E) is one of the leading international accreditation bodies in the world, respected for its integrity, practicality and impartiality. ASCB belongs to the Global Accreditation Forum (GAF), an international association for accreditation, which promotes best practices in quality assurance worldwide.

To date ASCB(E) has accredited over 90 certification bodies, registered over 3500 assessors, auditors and quality related personnel achievements; and certificated over 30,000 organizations. All certificated bodies, organisations and products are placed on the International Register (IRQAO) that has a live search function, providing the user with instant verification of the authenticity of any ASCB(E)- and other accredited certificate holder.

The International Register of Quality Assessed Organisations (IRQAO) was established in 1997 to provide a reference to organisations that hold certification thus validating the quality of their processes, products or services. To ensure stringent quality control IRQAO only lists certificates that have been awarded by a credible third-party assessment bodies.

The search engine of this site is un-restricted and results can include listings of certified organisations registered within any accreditation regime and other bona fide international listings.
